Spotted - 1989 Golf Rallye

A pretty rare Volkswagen homologation special. A 1763 cc version of the 1.8 liter G60 engine provides the motivation. I spotted this one this past summer. I think I saw it on sale somewhere recently. One of 5,000 examples were built. None of them officially imported into the U.S. You have to wonder about the journey it took to get here...
