Today's trip along memory lane takes us back to the late 60's. This time with a Corvette twist. The Amaze-A-Matics were battery-powered cars controlled by a simple mechanical "computer". Four models were offered. It turns out that the one I received as a gift back in the day was the one based on the
Astrovette show car. A set of plastic cards allowed the cars to run pre-programmed routes. A set of cardboard cards allowed the user to create their own routes for the car. The mechanism was a bit fragile but was fun while it lasted ;-) More information about it
