Tonight I opened up the console of the Corvette to take a look at the adjustment of the Hurst short throw shifter. I am trying to see if we can get rid of some of the freaking rattle these make when accelerating hard. The Tremec T56 has internal stops so the ones that come with the shifter are really not needed (so I read). I was going to back them off but in the end I decided to take them off all together. I also took the opportunity to "modify" the button on the parking brake handle to see if I can get it to stop rattling as well. Let's see how that goes.
