Spotted - Porsche 911 in Pastel Blue
This Porsche in Pastel Blue and beautiful blue skies combined to give this photo an interesing blue cast that made this one of my favorites scenes from my day at the races last Sunday.

Pebble Beach 2011 - 1949 Porsche 356 Gmund Coupe
This 356/2 Coupe is the 45th Porsche built. The first 52 Porsche’s were hammered out over wooden bucks by four employees in the little saw mill in Gmünd, Austria. It is powered by an 1100 cc, 40 hp air-cooled engine, with two Solex carburetors. This car won 1st place on the Postwar Sports Closed class this year. This car was painstakingly restored by Road Scholars for Hans-Peter Porsche. It was truly special to see a real Gmünd coupe...

From The Attic - Matchbox No. 68 - Porsche 910
Haven't had much free time lately but I finally got a chance to photograph some of the old die cast toys that have followed me around for years. Here is one of the oldest "survivors", the Matchbox No. 68 - Porsche 910 circa 1970 - 71. The Carrera 10 was a short-lived line (15 cars) built by Porsche as an extension of the 906 line of race cars (source). There are much better examples out there but this one is special enough to enjoy a well-deserve retirement on prominent display in my "museum", I mean, garage ;-)
