Ash & Maple Marvels Exhibition at the AACA Museum

Here are a couple of photos of my favorites from the Ash & Maple Marvels exhibition at the AACA Museum that I captured last October. Photos of the permanent collection of the AACA museum can be found on a previous post. Learn more about wood-bodied cars...

There was a nice variety of car on display.

Beautiful curves on this 1947 Nash Ambassador Suburban. My favorite by far...
(White Ash frame with Mahogany panels).

1948 Chrysler Town and Country convertible. Beautiful car however it is important to note that due to cost cutting (even back then), the dark "panels" are not wood but a decal material called Dynoc that resembles Mahogany.

1948 Ford Super Deluxe Sportsman Convertible.
