Spotted - Pinzgauer 712

I was driving down a road in the Big Island of Hawaii the other day when I saw a shape I have only seen in photos. A six wheel drive Steyr-Daimler-Puch Pinzgauer 712! These are considered to be some of the most capable all-terrain vehicles ever produced. A 2.5 liter air-cooled engine (105 HP SAE) provides motive power which sounds a little underwhelming to say the least but with such a capable chassis it looks like a fun way to experience some of the more remote places in this beautiful island.
