Citroen SM at the Italian Car Show

I came across this nice Citroen SM today at the All Italian Car Show at the XXX Rootbeer Drive-in. The first I have seen in the Northwest. I remember as a child one parked down the street from my house. It was an event to see it raise on that fantastic hydroneumatic suspension. A voiture magnifique!

Probably my favorite GT of all time. It is just cool!

Engine bay looks pretty original. Green spheres are the secret behind the Citroen ride. There is an Alfieri-designed Maserati V6 hidden behind all that complexity. Hope he adjusts those timing chains on a regular basis!

My die cast SM is a bit smaller but requires considerable less maintenance ;-)
