Now a Muntz Jet is rare enough, but a modified one, now that is pretty special. This car, one of two in Europe, was originally registered in Spain in 1959 by an American servicemen stationed in the Torrejon de Ardóz military base. The 1952 car was modified in 1955 while trying to resucitate the Muntz brand. It sports a custom front end reminicent of the hot coupe of the era, the Ford Thunderbird. This fine example is currently part of the collection at the Museo Historia de la Automoción in Salamanca, Spain. It was a real treat to see one first hand.
