Douglas B-18 Bolo at the McChord Air Museum

Last night I was reading about the role the B-18 Bolo played in the Caribbean as submarine patrol during World War II and remembered that we have one of the six remaining examples close by at the McChord Air Museum. Although not open to the general public, back in 2008 I had the chance to take a peek at this forgotten warbird during the airshow. You can learn a bit more about the U-boat war in the Caribbean at the Ramey Air Force Base Historical Association's site.
